Position Summary
Are you ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic and challenging environment? Join our Stress Engineering team as an intern and gain hands-on experience in aerodynamic modeling, simulations, and material testing. Under immediate supervision of the tutor and using templates and guidelines, you have the opportunity to gain professional experience in an interesting and challenging working environment.
Your Role:
- Perform initial aerodynamic analysis using a free code based on Vortex Lattice method to define all load conditions (gust, ground…).
- Perform Aeroelasticity Analysis.
- Evaluate the differences between initial aerodynamic analysis (Vortex Lattice method) and CFD using Start CCM+. Propose correction factors.
- Participate in tools generation, methods and guidelines definition.
- Aerodynamic Analysis using OpenFoam.
- Compare Results on Openfoam and STARCCM+.
- Create Mesh on Openfoam and import in STARCCM+.
- Opportunities to participate in rapid decompression, acoustic and stress activities.
Your Profile:
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering (Matriculation during the entire internship period / University recommendation is required).
- Aviation background and Aerodynamic experience preferred.
- Programming and CAD experience recommended.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, forward thinking and self-motivated team player.
- Language English (mandatory), French and/or German is a plus
