Your role at Baxter:
Join Baxter as a Research Associate III and become the Sterility Assurance Project Lead, navigating multi-disciplinary teams, manufacturing facilities, and regulatory affairs!

What you'll be doing:

Leading multiple SA projects with minimal guidance, coordinating schedules, budgets, and product requirements.

Providing input for designs and supporting regulatory submissions and responses.

Writing and executing microbiological and qualification protocols and reports for moist heat and device sterilization projects.

Joining cross-functional product development teams for drug and device projects.

Providing project status updates to cross-functional teams, management, and stakeholders.

Offering on-site support for Baxter manufacturing facilities for validation and process qualification.

Participating in investigations, troubleshooting, and CAPAs.

Planning, designing, and executing microbiological test methods.

Leading agile SA internal project meetings.

Evaluating, summarizing, and interpreting technical data and test results.
What you'll bring:

Hold a Bachelor's degree with 5 + years of experience or a Master's degree with 3 + years of experience or a PhD with 0 years of experience.

Possess relevant laboratory, technical, writing, and computer skills.

Have the ability to organize and communicate complex information in an engaging manner.
-
Use a logical, methodical approach to independently solve problems, develop solutions, and make recommendations.

Contribute to efforts beyond your scope of responsibilities to ensure project milestones are met.

Articulate customer needs and incorporate them into work products.

Effectively mentor junior level associates.

Make routine decisions independently.

Design experiments and draw meaningful conclusions from lab data.

Travel to Baxter manufacturing facilities or suppliers up to 20% of the time.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
