Position Overview

You’ll work with cutting-edge tools, contribute to impactful projects, and gain hands-on experience in the exciting intersection of learning technology and data analytics.
As a Learning & Development Intern focused on Learning Technology and Data Analytics, you will play a key role in supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of our learning programs. You will assist in enhancing our learning technology infrastructure, help gather and analyze data to drive informed decisions, and contribute to improving learning outcomes across the organization.
This is an onsite internship in Madison, WI during Summer 2025.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of learning technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and mobile learning apps.
- Provide technical support for online courses, webinars, and eLearning platforms.
- Help maintain and update learning content libraries and course catalogs within the LMS.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues related to learning technologies and systems integration.
- Collect, organize, and analyze learning data to track program effectiveness, user engagement, and performance metrics.
- Generate and visualize reports on key learning metrics using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other analytics platforms.
- Assist in identifying trends and insights to help optimize learning initiatives and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of dashboards and visual presentations for stakeholders to monitor learning impact.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and learning specialists to ensure technology and data align with learning objectives.
- Assist in evaluating learner feedback and survey data to continuously improve the quality of learning programs.
- Support the creation of microlearning content and learning paths based on data-driven insights.
- Help identify areas for innovation and enhancement in learning technologies and recommend solutions.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
- Ability to work designated schedule.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Candidates with ability to be on site in Madison, WI preferred but open to remote interns.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Learning and Development, Educational Technology, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), eLearning platforms, and digital learning tools.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Databricks, Power BI, Google Analytics) and an interest in learning how to interpret learning data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information in a user-friendly way.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Enthusiastic about leveraging technology and data to improve learning experiences.
Salary Range:
$34,000.00 - $54,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
