Reduced-Risk Products NPD Project Manager
Position Purpose:
In GRRP not a single day is like the other and this is what is driving us. The GRRP NPD PMO Team is in the center of action, responsible for managing projects and processes related to the development of innovative RRP products and propositions in a cross-functional company effort; identification of the critical path, prioritizing tasks and projects, planning, and tracking the progress of execution to enable efficient and effective implementation of the ambitious RRP strategic objectives.
JTG embarked on an unprecedented journey to launch its flagship HTP (Heated Tobacco Product) innovation, Ploom, in over 27 markets, and you will provide crucial support in coordinating timelines, managing cross-departmental communication, and ensuring alignment of the launch activities with the broader market strategy. This coordination is essential in adapting to dynamic market conditions and ensuring that key milestones are met on time to deliver a seamless product launch experience.
What will you do – responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed deliverable structure and action plan for each project, aligning closely with all stakeholders, particularly addressing Business/Commercial needs
- Monitor progress meticulously through critical path analysis, providing regular qualitative and quantitative updates on key project milestones
- Continuously identify potential risks and proactively plan mitigation strategies to address any emerging challenges
- Lead issue resolution efforts and escalate matters to the RRP NPD PMO and/or senior management as needed
- Coordinate internal approval processes for NPD authorization, including preparation of Business Cases, BAP, and Memos
- Implement best-in-class change management practices to ensure smooth coordination and execution of project phases
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- University degree (scientific/engineering background is a plus)
- At least 7-8 years of experience in Electronics, FMCG, Pharma with 3-5 years in Project management / NPD and a solid capability in New Product Development / Innovation
- Market experience and/or project management skills working with cross-functional teams are a must
- Excellent English, both written and verbal
- Outstanding command of MS Excel and PowerPoint, good knowledge of MS Project, MS SharePoint administration
- Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving organizational objectives
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
