For our client, an international private bank based in Geneva, we are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Officer for their Client Service Center.
Main Responsibilities:
- Validate KYC and client static data in the bank’s core systems
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data input in Wealth Management platforms and account opening documents
- Process and authorize updates related to client records: address/contact changes, hold mail instructions, online banking access, credit card setup, etc.
- Manage and maintain the physical archive of documents in an organized and compliant manner
- Conduct internal system searches related to client records
- Handle requests for client data extraction and provision
- Perform signature verification and update relevant client files
- Participate in data cleansing initiatives and verify documentation against core system records
- Provide operational support during data migration and transformation projects
- Contribute to additional ad hoc assignments as required by management
Profile:
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in banking operations, client onboarding or KYC/AML processes within the private banking or financial industry
- Strong understanding of account documentation, operational risk management, and regulatory standards
- Experience with core banking systems (Avaloq knowledge is a strong asset)
- Familiarity with private banking products and services, and solid awareness of compliance and data protection guidelines
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with an ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Able to work independently as well as cross-functionally with various internal teams
- Proactive and solution-oriented with a strong attention to detail
- High level of professional integrity and commitment to delivering quality work
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English; French is an asset
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment
