We are looking for the Head of Distribution Switzerland, based in Wallisellen, Zurich (hybrid).
Your Team
At Allianz Commercial our Distribution department has an in-depth understanding of the demand and expectations of corporate clients and brokers. It is offering a best-in-class support to create client-related solutions that contribute to the overall economic targets of Allianz Commercial by using the full range of products and services offered by Allianz.
The Impact You Will Have
You will be responsible to lead, drive and execute local Distribution strategy and Allianz Commercial Value Proposition, ensure achievement of local financial targets, effecively manage strategic external client and broker relationships , act as strong discussion / sparring partner to local Management, CEO and other stakeholders and fill the pipeline to drive sustainable and profitable growth by executing a solution- and service oriented strategic sales approach.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Lead distribution of Allianz Commercial in Switzerland and steer all activities to ensure accomplishment of Allianz Commercial Value Proposition
- Drive local market potential by managing client service targets for top clients, winning profitable new business across various industry segments, and leading the coordination of bids and opportunity roadmaps, ensuring a smooth transition to the operational key account team upon successful acquisition.
- Proactively foster and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, acting as point of contact and trusted advisor for large corp client.
- Facilitate client understanding of Allianz Commercial´s offerings and underwriting capabilities
- Lead efforts to win new and profitable key clients by developing Opportunity Roadmaps and coordinating bids.
- Develop strategic account plans (SAPs) and ensure they are documented in Salesforce to meet financial targets.
- Drive initiatives to increase Allianz Commercial´s "Size of Wallet" through Upsell and Cross Sell strategies
- Contribute to achieving revenue and client retention targets by developing compelling value propositions and employing a structured sales cycle process
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- In-depth knowledge of corporate and specialty risk insurance, with the ability to implement best practices inchannel management, coupled with a strong understanding of market operations and the ability to address both business and customer needs effectively.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, fostering collaboration and driving performance to achieve organizational goals.
- Significant experience in analytical roles, with robust knowledge in at least one trade sector.
- Demonstrable ability to foster long-term, profitable relationships at senior levels in broker and client organizations.
- Successful in prospecting new clients in industrial/specialty insurance, with experience in International Program Business.
- Strong business insight, capable of developing market, competitor, and client insights, with proficiency in sales support and channel management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with strong analytical abilities to resolve complex issues.
- Fluent in German and English is essential.
