We are seeking an experienced, discreet, and highly organized Private Household Manager & Personal Assistant to manage the day-to-day operations of a private household in Switzerland (Vaud).
DESCRIPTION DE LA MISSION
This person will support the principal with all aspects of household management, personal errands, travel support, and serve as a trusted representative in both personal and professional matters.
- Oversee daily household tasks, including cleaning, tidying, laundry, and meal preparation tailored to dietary preferences.
- Manage both physical and online shopping, deliveries, and returns.
- Ensure the well-being of dogs, including feeding, walking, and vet appointments.
- Accompany the principal on international and domestic trips, handling travel logistics and ensuring smooth experiences.
- Provide support to friends and family when needed, ensuring their comfort and managing any requests they may have.
- Source and oversee service providers for household maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects.
- Manage household expenses, track budgets, and organize important documents.
- Act as the principal's representative in interactions with service providers, vendors, and contractors when needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality on all private and sensitive matters related to the household and principal's life.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, working in high-net-worth households or in a service-oriented environment (such as hospitality).
- Fluency in English, French (spoken and written) is essential. Ability to engage in simple conversations in Spanish is required.
- Strong housekeeping and cooking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Tech-savvy with experience in online shopping, digital organization, and communication tools.
- Capable of basic accounting and document management.
- Experience with pets, particularly dogs.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
