You would be joining the Commercial Performance Team in Geneva as one of two e-commerce Operations Interns. The Commercial Excellence team is a dynamic team responsible for driving continuous improvement in supporting systems, processes, and tools utilized in the Commercial team.
The IATA Store is the next version of the IATA e-Commerce platform (currently store.iata.org), launched in phases since April 2024.
We are an international team looking for someone who can demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural environment with excellent interpersonal skills, be persistent and have a positive can-do attitude.
Your day-to-day responsibilities would include:
- Showcasing and updating products on the IATA Store.
- Understanding in-depth the set-up on the Store to help Product Manager and Store Operations with the addition of new products on the Store.
- Being the point of contact for product managers and the Senior e-commerce operation manager for tests on new product set-up.
- Acting as a proxy product owner to answer functional questions on the Store features.
- Suggesting improvements to the Store product pages.
- Assisting in the transition to operations (training, migration including data, support team). This will include creating a knowledge base for updates on the Store, updating training materials for operations.
- Performing acceptance testing before each monthly release of new features
- Proactively monitoring the e-commerce pages to find out issues on products available on the Store.
- Reporting on the Store performance and proactive monitoring (using PowerBI or other visualization tools)
- Any other task assigned by the Store Operations Manager to ensure a smooth growth of the new Store.
You should be able to think openly, imaginatively, and creatively! You must enjoy working in a fast-paced, high workload environment; have proven organizational skills; the ability to prioritize and work on multiple streams simultaneously. You will also be required to maintain high attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.
You have recently graduated (in the last year) with a degree in Engineering or Commerce (*or equivalent). You have strong communication skills, experience in e-commerce CMS tool is a plus.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have excellent English skills (verbal and written), with knowledge of French an asset.
• Be highly computer-literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of one data visualization tool is a plus (PowerBI or other)
• Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is a plus
