Introduction and Overview
We are now hiring for a Business Excellence Manager at our Launch & Growth Manufacturing site in Schaffhausen. We are in a transition phase, as the product mix is going to change in the coming years.
We are looking for highly self motivated individual ready to embark on this exciting journey, where delivering improvements from Operational Excellence point of view is a key enabler for the continued success of the site’s history. You will bring value to our Lean Lighthouse strategy if you bring your OPEX expertise on board. With your winning personality, you can create sustainable and trustful relationships with the various teams and create positive momentum for continuous improvements.
This position is reporting to the Senior Manager Business Excellence Lead and is located at our site in Schaffhausen.
Objectives of the Position
- Implement Schaffhausen LEAN Lighthouse Strategy and corresponding Lean Roadmaps.
- Act as BEx-Partner for defined BU/BUs and coach and mentor JJPS/LEAN Champions.
- Lead change management through proactive partner management and influence business improvement objectives for the business.
- Develop LEAN Basics (e.g. Tier-Meetings, 5S, Hoshin Kanri, Leader Standard work, Gemba) and continuous improvement (Root Cause Problem Solving, A3) capabilities through training, coaching and mentoring at all levels (from shopfloor to management) within the site.
- Compliance with the GMP, EHS and SOX requirements and guidelines, which are connected to the respective function.
- Develop and implement process performance improvements around Quality, Product Supply, and Cost aligned with site, platform and MTO targets by using Lean manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and JJPS Excellence principles/tools.
- Engage with cross-functional partners to ensure Business Excellence initiatives are optimally deployed and recognized.
- Support in development and implementation of JJPS site roadmap and business process standards.
- Support in creation of an annual continuous improvement pipeline and deliver on annual cost improvement goals for the site.
- Work as a strategic partner with all other functions within the company, ensuring the OPEX strategy supports the business goals and objectives.
- Own the implementation of key business improvement initiatives across the site and across the platform.
- Coach, mentor, and develop JJPS implementation team/s.
- Sustain and further strengthen the application of JJPS governance processes and apply the JJPS framework to deliver results.
- Foster an E2E attitude by cross-functional and cross-site collaborations.
- Drive communication around JJPS awareness/marketing at the site (e.g. newsletters).

You show commitment and dedication to solve problems and have the ability to quickly understand complex processes and identify the essence. You enjoy digging into details and crunch numbers and sell it by storytelling. You are a self-starter and capable of independent work and taking care of change management.
