We are seeking a dedicated Strategic Procurement Manager – Utilities and Net Zero Energy to join our Group Procurement team. This person will have a pivotal role in supporting our commitment to sustainability and NetZero. The role will focus on developing a Utilities and renewable energy sourcing strategy jointly with Group Engineering and Country Supply Chain Teams, and deliver tangible results by actively engaging Country Procurement. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, proven record of managing simultaneously multiple projects across different geographies, a deep understanding of the utilities market and passion for creating a sustainable future.
Our new team member will:
- Design, drive and cascade category strategy and lead the execution strategic sourcing for the categories in scope
- Lead procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior and executive-level stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Align with the business and deliver category SLA’s and KBI’s
- Represent Group Procurement in all cross-functional Utilities & Net Zero activities with key Group and external stakeholders
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation and efficiency improvements
- Nourish the relationship with key suppliers and all senior internal customers to drive engagement and buy-in of the Vision and Targets
- Handle data analysis and reporting using advanced Excel skills.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and projects relevant to the role, contributing to personal and professional development.
You can be successful in this role if you have:
- University degree in Business or Engineering.
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment in an International.
- Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a procurement role preferably with a focus on commodities, or utilities management or sustainability management.
- Proven record in remote management of multiple projects across different countries, engaging stakeholders at different levels.
- Understanding of the utilities and renewables markets.
- Solid finance acumen and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Proficient in Excel with advanced data handling skills.
- A passion for contributing to a sustainable future.
