We are looking for a Regional Head of Distribution Switzerland, based in Wallisellen, Zurich (hybrid).
Your Team
At Allianz Commercial our Distribution department has an in-depth understanding of the demand and expectations of corporate clients and brokers. It is offering a best-in-class support to create client-related solutions that contribute to the overall economic targets of Allianz Commercial by using the full range of products and services offered by Allianz.
The Impact You Will Have
You will be responsible to develop and execute local Distribution strategy and Allianz Commercial Value Proposition, ensure achievement of local financial targets, effecively manage strategic external client and broker relationships , act as strong discussion / sparring partner to local Management, CEO and other stakeholders. Fill the pipeline to drive sustainable and profitable growth by executing a solution- and service oriented strategic sales approach.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Deliver the business plan for Allianz Commercial across all lines of business in the Region.
- Ensure optimum business performance, leading proactive planning, and management of the sales pipeline.
- Develop and execute market management strategy and value proposition, maximize profitable growth including cross-entity synergies.
- Develop distribution strategy and propositions for key broker segments that support the business’ customer segmentation focus and core strategy of profitable growth in Digital, Mid-Market, Large-Corp, and Specialty segments.
- Based on knowledge and analysis of broker strategies, driving refinement of customer product and service propositions reconciling with customer segment insights from market areas and driving underwriting appetite to exploit market opportunities.
- Ensure that governance of the Distribution function reflects regulatory requirements of both Allianz Commercial and Allianz Holdings.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- You have extensive knowledge of the Switzerland insurance market incl. a wider network of (national) brokers and clients, as well as a solid experience in market management, distribution and/or sales, with the ability to lead and inspire your team in a challenging environment.
- Bringing with you an appreciation of strategic change management principles, you will enjoy using your highly developed stakeholder management skills to influence all levels incl. C-suite and Allianz Commercial holding functions, and the ability to bring people together cross-functionally across operating entities.
- You will also ideally have a strong understanding of Distribution and Market Strategy, with the ability to demonstrate a concrete impact on Allianz Commercial strategic ambitions.
- You will be passionate about creating a customer mindset across the organization.
- You will come from a management position and bring your outstanding leadership skills, strong emotional intelligence to further grow the team and build relationships with market players.
- You will use your analytical skills to break complex problems down into manageable pieces, determine the best course of action and drive the implementation of your ideas.
- You speak German as native speaker, English fluently and another European language would be beneficial.
