WinGD is looking for a
Superintendent Technical Engineer Operation Service Support
Responsibilities:
Advise and consult on-site maintenance tasks and repairs
- Advise, instruct, and train if needed marine engineers (own or partners) for given tasks.
- Identify and resolve the issues using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
Document Field Activity
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, including service and working reports, maintenance logs and observation for further reference and compliance. Ensure an economic use of resources.
Ensure effectiveness project controlling
- Ensuring the correct recording of hours, project controlling (expenditure and income) and forwarding of data for invoicing.
Ensure compliance with Safety and Regulations
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements during all field activities, implementing best practices to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with company standards.
Team Collaboration
- Work effectively with other engineers and other parties. Share the insights and ensure comprehensive solution to complex technical issues.
Requirements:
- Higher education degree (Bachelor’s degree, Mech’ or/and Elect’ Engineering) with sound experience as a Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer.
- 2-Stroke Engine Knowledge: Feeling for engine performance, thermodynamics, vibrations, materials, and structures.
- Experience of 2-stroke engine service & operation including automation system & electronics.
- Graduated in equipment, electrical, or electronics-related fields or with relevant experience.
- Focusing on hands-on experience with safety standards in field operation.
- Strengths in either trouble-shooting / measurements on board and/or high complexity work as software update and onboard tunning related work
- Experience or ability to support effective management of field service projects and coordination with teams.
- PC user Software and simple “PC setup” skills are necessary.
- Ability to interpret and create documents in English, and effectively communicate.
- Self-driven and self-critical working behaviour with the target of continuous improvement.
- Knowledge in MS office applications
- Fluent in English, any other foreign language is an advantage
