About You
As a Digital Experience Solution Architect focused on Digital Experience (DX), you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions using Sitecore and other technologies. Your architectural vision and ability to collaborate cross-functionally will drive the creation of robust digital platforms that deliver exceptional user experiences and align with business objectives.
Scope/Categories:
Role will report to the North America DX Engineering Manager
Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.
Key Interfaces:
Internal: NA Marketing VP, NA Marketing Brands and Product Teams, NA D&A Product Managers; Legal Team, DTS Cloud Team; DTS Enterprise Architecture Team; Global DTS Commercial Team, NA DTS Team.
External: Marketing Agencies, Third Party Providers.
Responsibilities:

Design and architect scalable digital solutions using Sitecore and other technologies, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and architectural designs.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
-
Oversee the integration of various digital systems and technologies to align with a cohesive platform.
-
Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the digital experience.
-
Ensure that all architectural designs comply with CPRA/CCPA, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations.
-
Lead efforts to incorporate compliance features, such as consent management and secure data handling, into the architecture.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that architectural designs align with regulatory requirements.
-
Stay current with industry trends in digital experience platforms and architecture, applying relevant advancements to improve solutions.

Create and maintain architectural documentation, ensuring it accurately reflects the current state of systems.

Provide guidance on selecting technologies and tools that support compliance and data protection.
-
Lead the strategy for the digital experience platform, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives across segments.

Oversee the technical implementation of digital marketing strategies within the platform architecture and guidelines.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that architectural designs support business objectives and user experience goals.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve architectural challenges, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and performant.
-
Mentor and support other architects and engineers within the team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Required Skills and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
-
10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on digital platforms.
-
Strong expertise headed and headless CMS solutions, including experience with common integration points and best practices.
-
Excellent understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and best practices including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular, and REST APIs.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
-
Expertise in MACH architectural approaches
-
Hand-on expertise in development of scalable consumer facing digital solutions using .Net, C#, MVC approaches, as well as headless technologies
-
Extensive experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) architecture and GraphQL is a plus.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS required. Key Sitecore and Sitecore related skillsets:
-
Hands-on Sitecore solution development experience with Sitecore version 10 required.
-
Experience with deploying and utilizing Cloud ecosystems including Azure, Sitecore Cloud or AWS is required
-
Experience with Docker/ Containers
-
Strong experience with search implementations such as Solr.
-
Experience developing against the Helix design principles and Sitecore best practices.
-
Experience with multilingual implementations.
-
Experience designing and optimizing relational databases and stored procedures for optimal performance and/or maintainability. Experience with SQL Server is a must
-
Sitecore Professional Developer Certification is required.
-
Experience with automated testing and security scans.
-
Experience with SEO and tagging (analytics).
-
Experience with version control, specifically Git as well as versioning methodologies
-
In depth experience working on an agile team adopting DevOps and CI/CD as well as scrum methodologies.

Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams.
-
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
-
Deep knowledge of data privacy laws like CPRA/CCPA, GDPR, and their architectural implications.

Extensive experience in issue spotting and raising compliance issues in their day-to-day and be aware of the major regulatory considerations impacting their work.

Experience in designing systems that prioritize data security, consent management, and compliance.
-
Ability to evaluate and select technologies that support compliance within digital platforms.
