Key Responsibilities
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:Supporting the Product Leadership Team (PLT) and addressing production issues related to established active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). You will collaborate closely with various departments while considering production constraints, safety, quality, and environmental aspects. Additionally, you will evaluate the scientific relevance of laboratory trial requests within the PLT team (e.g. homologations)Participating in optimization/improvement projects of established processes. You will also be involved in identifying opportunities for optimization of commercial processes through (e.g. deviation and product portfolio analysis).Planning and coordinating the activities of your two laboratory technicians.Editing reports to track R&D investigations/optimisations.
Key Requirements
You hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry and have at least 5 years of operational experience, including both R&D and manufacturing, preferably in a CMO c-GMP environment. You are highly structured and systematic in your approach to problem-solving, utilizing tools such as situation diagnosis, process mapping, root cause analysis, decision/risk analysis, and fishbone/5Why's diagrams.
You are flexible, collaborative, and possess a positive attitude with strong communication skills, enabling you to work effectively across multiple departments (production, quality, analytics, sourcing, etc.). You are decisive in demanding environments and proactive during crisis management.
You are fluent in both French and English and are open to adopting new technologies, such as Process Analytical Technology (PAT)
