You will play a crucial role in the success of Läderach's international retail expansion. You will need to balance to complexities of global sourcing with the specific needs of each local market, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all new stores while optimizing costs, maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance and minimizing risks. This position is part of the strategic procurement team and you will report directly to the Global Head of Procurement.
What you can expect
- You develop a global procurement strategy, identify suppliers in various countries, and negotiate long-term partnerships to optimize costs and quality
- You collaborate with internal teams to create international rollout plans, manage central databases, and implement standardized processes
- You plan and manage budgets for store expansion, analyze costs, and implement savings measures without compromising quality
- You optimize the supply chain, coordinate global logistics, and develop strategies to minimize disruptions and risks
- You ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements while integrating sustainability initiatives into the procurement process
What we expect from you
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- You have at least 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and leading cross-functional teams, ideally in retail or construction
- You possess in-depth knowledge of global supply chain management, international procurement, and the implementation of cost-saving strategies
- You demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders
- You are willing to travel, work analytically and data-driven, are fluent in English (German or Chinese is a plus), and are familiar with procurement software such as SAP
