Job Description
- Security Technology Implementation: Deploy security solutions for in-house application development;
- Collaboration with IT and Business Teams: Integrate security principles into infrastructure and application design, ensuring "security by design and by default" for each project;
- Network Security Enhancement: Maintain and strengthen network security controls, including firewall policies, network segmentation, encryption standards, and multi-factor authentication configurations;
- Selection and Implementation of Security Tools: Assess, select, and deploy security tools that align with the organization’s context and requirements;
- Technology Watch: Stay current with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices;
- Cyber Threat Monitoring: Continuously adapt response protocols to address emerging security risks;
- Incident Monitoring and Response: Track security alerts, investigate incidents, and respond proactively to threats;
- Forensic Analysis and Incident Management: Conduct forensic analysis and identify root causes;
- Vulnerability Management: Analyze identified vulnerabilities and develop effective remediation plans;
- Risk Mitigation and Advisory: Provide recommendations to mitigate risks and lead initiatives to close identified security gaps;
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and regulatory requirements;
- Documentation: Develop and maintain security documentation.
Qualifications
- Firewall Management: Advanced expertise in firewall configuration and management;
- Reverse Proxy: Strong understanding of setup and optimization;
- Mail Gateway: Hands-on experience with secure mail gateway configuration;
- Vulnerability Assessment: Expert level in identifying and mitigating risks;
- Patching: Proven experience ensuring consistent and effective system updates;
- System Hardening: Strong skills in system hardening and securing configurations;
- Observability: Comprehensive system insight capabilities;
- Monitoring: Proficiency in managing system alerts effectively;
- Network Routing: Solid knowledge and competency in network routing principles.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English;
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience;
- Engaged and Proactive Mindset: Ability to anticipate and act to enhance security;
- Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with various stakeholders;
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey complex information;
- Adaptability: High flexibility to adapt to evolving environments;
- Banking Experience: Experience in a banking environment is a strong asset.
