Summary of Position
Reporting to the Compliance Monitoring Manager, this position ensures that the organisation and aircraft it manages remain compliant with Operations, Continuing Airworthiness, Safety and Security requirements.
This role will require close liaison with other staff members within the department and organisation as well as some flexibility in working hours and participation in a coverage rotation. There will also be potential development and training opportunities for the successful candidate looking to develop their career and take on new responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities / Duties and Accountabilities
- Support the Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) in ensuring that the compliance monitoring programme is properly implemented, maintained and continually reviewed and improved.
- Undertake EASA/ UK Air Ops, CAMO and Part 145 audits.
- Ensure all audits are documented, including the recording of non-compliances / observations and that these are reported to the relevant responsible manager for action.
- Ensure remedial action is taken to address the root cause of findings / observations raised.
- Administration and tracking of the compliance audit programme.
- Recording and tracking of compliance monitoring data.
- Chairing and minute taking of compliance safety meetings.
- Carry out trend analysis on data collected from compliance & safety related functions.
- In conjunction with the Safety Department, identify safety hazards and undertake risk assessments and safety cases when necessary.
- Conduct internal training related to compliance and safety as required.
- Support safety investigations and assist in maintaining the reporting database.

- Sound knowledge of commercial aviation industry
- Experience/knowledge of Compliance Monitoring
- Performance Indicator monitoring and measurement
- Data recording and analysis
Desirable Competencies
- Good understanding of EASA Part 145, Part M/CAMO, IOM, EASA Part CAT, Part NCC, SMS regulations
- EASA/ UK Part M / Part CAMO and Part 145 knowledge
- EASA/UK Air Ops knowledge
- Lead auditor training
- A Level
- EASA / UK Regulatory Training
- EWIS, FTS and Human Factors
- Experience in auditing Air Ops, Part M/CAMO and Part 145
- Leading and Chairing meetings
