In our quest to redefine the world's infrastructure, we're seeking aSenior Performance Controller being responsible for the Global Building Products, assigned to our Smart Infrastructure Business Unit.

Your new responsibilities
- Taking ownership of monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of our global product business, delivering in-depth KPI analysis and insightful performance commentary
- Regularly generating comprehensive business reports that assess the overall performance of the product business, providing actionable recommendations to senior management
- Promoting financial transparency for the Sustainability business, collaborating closely with the Sustainability organization to foster transparency on a wide range of financial topics
- Responding promptly to ad-hoc requests from top management, crafting well-structured storylines that address their strategic needs and providing clear insights
- Working with advanced tools such as Power BI and Snowflake applications to enhance reporting capabilities and supporting the team in driving the digital transformation of financial workflows
- Continuously improving the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes, optimizing the flow of information across all business areas
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives and driving impactful decision-making based on performance data
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and improve performance, demonstrating a proactive approach in addressing challenges
- Providing ongoing support in developing strategic financial insights, helping steer business decisions that enhance profitability and sustainability
- Taking a leadership role in ensuring financial data integrity, quality, and timeliness in all reporting processes
Your skills and experience
- University degree or equivalent in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a similar field, offering a solid foundation in financial analysis
- Longterm experience in performance controlling and financial reporting within an international headquarters environment, preferably in an industrial and technology-driven B2B setting, such as building automation, industrial equipment, systems engineering, or similar field
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with a deep understanding of financial metrics relevant to product development, production, and global sales organizations
- Experience working across matrix organizations, collaborating with business portfolio units, R&D, operations, and sales teams
- Profound expertise in ERP systems and databases, with a deep understanding of financial systems and their role in business operations
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively in culturally diverse, cross-functional teams and to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive attitude with a hands-on approach, able to take ownership and drive continuous improvement in reporting and planning processes
- Fluency in English is essential for this role. German and any additional European language would be an advantage
Location: this role will be based in Zug/Switzerland. Please note that candidates need to be legally eligible for work authorization in Switzerland.
