The digital/flexo printing and converting specialist objective is to guarantee every printing and converting machine is fully commissioned and tested to perform according to specification while preserving BOBST highest standard of safety and quality. The digital/flexo printing and converting specialist must provide top-notch printing and process support to internal and external customers during training and production ultimately achieving complete customer's satisfaction.

Travel: Worldwide travel up 50-60% of working time
Main Responsibilities
Press Setup, Testing & Quality Control• Configure and set printing parameters, then verify the quality of the first produced piece using precise measurements and controls.• Promptly correct or address printing issues and troubleshoot any machine malfunctions for efficient and high-quality output.• Simulate production of a test print, continually monitoring operation and print quality, and make necessary adjustments to achieve the expected results before acceptance tests (FAT or SAT) are initiated.
Machine testing & acceptance• Manage the customer acceptance process, building strong on-site relationships while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.• Manage the correct acceptance process verifying proper machine and features functionality and performance at our premises (FAT) and at customer sites (SAT).
Customer Training & Support• Instruct end-users on safe and efficient machine operation, print and process defects and corrections.• Cooperate with pre-press and R&D to address issues and propose solutions for printing and process issues and defects or machine improper functioning.• Provide continuous support and expertise to customers to guarantee successful long-term results.
R&D, Demo, Process development• Contribute and support new product and RnD development with its knowledge and intuition.• Promote a culture of excellence and collaboration while pushing the limit of our technology to improve processes, operations, and quality.
Critical Skills
• Talent and curiosity for continuous personal and team improvement is a must.• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in printing with Flexo, or Digital technologies.• Flexographic printing processes expertise including setup and troubleshooting.• Familiar with digital printing processes and related technologies.• Experience with web-fed machinery and rotary die-cutting operations for cardboard applications.• Proven ability to identify, analyse, and resolve issues.• Good command of technical English, especially for on-site customer interactions.• Willingness to travel internationally.• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.• Experience in offset and converting (cutting and creasing) processes is a plus.
