IT Project Manager - Telecom Domain

As an IT Project Manager in Telecom, you will:

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for IT initiatives ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

• Monitor and control project progress and ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) for all project stages.

• Utilize your Telecom expertise, including BSS, OSS, IT and Network Telecom Architecture to design and integrate cutting-edge solutions.

• Oversee the successful implementation of systems and solutions, ensuring seamless integration between BSS and OSS platforms.

• Act as a liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, providing proactive solutions and maintaining project momentum.

• Oversee the seamless integration of IT solutions within the telecom environment, including BSS/OSS systems, IT and Network Telecom Architecture, and operational platforms ensuring compatibility and performance.

This job is for you, if you have:  

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields.

• At least 8 years of IT project management experience in IT project management, specifically within the Telecom industry.

• Expertise in Telecom concepts, including BSS (Business Support Systems), OSS (Operational Support Systems), IT and Network Telecom Architecture, and end-to-end system integration.

• Expertise in project management methodologies and stakeholder communication

• Proven track record in complex, large-scale IT projects in the Swiss telecom industry including collaboration with global IT Service Providers

• Proficiency in English for effective communication and collaboration

As the icing on the cake, you bring along  

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification.

• Telecom-related certifications (e.g., TOGAF, TM Forum, ITIL)

• Proficiency in German
