Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a rising senior for the role of Technical Writer Intern. Interns will document product features and create instructional content to support adoption and learning, focusing on a single product throughout their internship. This role will take direction from the Documentation Manager and will work with Engineering, UX, QA and Product Management.
Job Duties:
Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and user guides
Create virtual tutorials and videos
Upload and maintain documentation on collaboration site
Proofread and edit documents submitted by team
Provide a quick turnaround and meet all deadlines
Education Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expectation that degree will be obtained between December 2025- July 2026
Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship
Pursuing a degree in Media, Communications, English or related field
Requirements:
Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the continental United States for the duration of the program
Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction (this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future)
This is a 40 hour per week assignment, lasting 12 weeks with the expected start date being May 21, 2025 and ending on August 13th, 2025
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of machine learning data preparation techniques, machine learning models and AI technology
Self-motivated to complete work assignments and learn new software and tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit
Receptive to feedback on work
Initiative to solve problems independently
