Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

The Senior QA Engineer role provides you a unique opportunity to join Tricentis and work on a brand new product in our portfolio. You will be responsible for the quality assurance of Tricentis Test Analytics and Test Management platform. You will define, design and implement innovative ways to push our products to the edge and ensure it can provide the reliability, scalability and availability our customers expect from Tricentis products.
 

Additionally, you will:
• Design, build, and run test cases for regression testing, new feature testing, system testing and integration testing. 
• Works closely with developers to isolate and understand issues.
• Write comprehensive, reproducible bug reports in Jira.
• Collaborate with test team members to improve our testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Must have a good working knowledge of SAP applications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical product experience in the following areas: quality assurance, software development, systems architecture, or administration.
• Technical education and solid technical knowledge (e.g. technical degree or equivalent technical experience)
• Diverse experience with all types of testing: regression testing, system testing, integration testing and performance testing

• Experience with web application testing (ASP, ASP.NET)

• Self-starter with the ability to determine technical solutions
• A combined discipline for creativity and collaboration

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
 

Nice to have
• Ability to work as part of a distributed team
• A pragmatic and disciplined approach in successfully implementing best SQA practices in a "real world" company
• Knowledge of Windows administration
• Knowledge of Sysinternals tools to support system diagnostics
• Proficient in writing SQL queries against a variety of data sources
• Knowledge of Salesforce and ServiceNow a plus

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 52.136 gross per year for this position according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be above the indicated minimum salary.
