The Opportunity
As a UI/UX Senior Designer, you'll assume a leadership role in steering the course of user experience design throughout its entire lifecycle. Your responsibilities encompass every facet of the design process, including ideation, concept development, detailed design, prototyping, and user testing.
Responsibilities
- Apply the fundamental principles of design thinking to thoughtfully conceptualize and create engaging, valuable, and intuitive user experiences across a wide spectrum of digital channels. Act as a leader in shaping the direction of user experience design.
- Represent the end-user as the foremost advocate, continually promoting human-centered methodologies across the product team. Ensure that new designs not only meet but exceed people's needs, catering to both first-time users and seasoned experts.
- Lead user research and testing initiatives to deeply understand user behaviors and preferences. Develop comprehensive wireframes and task flows grounded in user insights. Collaborate seamlessly with Designers and Developers, providing leadership to ensure the creation of intuitive and user-friendly software products.
- Ideate and articulate visionary concepts for new customer journeys or enhancements to existing ones. Collaborate closely with product leads and product owners to provide strategic direction, emphasizing your role in shaping the future of the product landscape.
- Take a leadership role in producing, reviewing, and refining wireframes and storyboards for digital products. Ensure that these design assets adhere to the highest standards of user experience and align with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Develop and manage experience ecosystems, service maps, and other design artifacts. This will play a pivotal role in ensuring a consistent, desirable, and efficient user experience across all digital channels.
- Assume a leadership role in researching, identifying, and articulating customer needs. Conduct in-depth interviews and facilitate focus groups to gain profound insights into user preferences and requirements.
- Lead by example in a cross-functional agile product team, contributing your expertise to design, deliver, and test intuitive customer experiences. Serve as a bridge between various teams and functions, ensuring a cohesive and user-centric approach throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure the success and impact of the user experience design initiatives. Continually analyze and leverage these metrics to drive continuous improvement in the quality and effectiveness of digital products.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience.
- 6+ years’ experience in leading software design and development with knowledge of the agile way of working.
- Experience with leading design of quality products or experiences, as well as enabling business objectives through technology.
- Graphical and visual design skills, including use of a diverse set of software.
- Well-rounded user-centered design portfolio spanning, e.g., Web, mobile, tablet and potentially consumer products or media.
- Excellent track record in prior work of user research, experience design, rapid prototyping, usability testing.
- Has analytical skills to conduct diagnosis of UX.
- Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.
- Proficiency in English in both verbal and written communication is a must

Salary
As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 3850 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
