The Quality Development Group is located in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, and is responsible for quality assurance through evaluation and quality improvement through problem investigation and analysis in the development of personal computer products sold by NECPC.

• Number of Peers : 7

■Roles and responsibilities

◆Test Design and problem investigation for PC systems (F/W and S/W related)

• Create test plan for development projects
• Create test items for new functions
• Develop/Maintain test tools or utilities for function and stability testing
• Update test items due to function changes, etc.
• Functional testing
• Isolating problems
• Find root cause and provide solution by collaborating with related teams
• Create report (test report, problem analysis report, weekly progress report)

■Key Interaction with:

• ODM (Original Design Manufacturing)
• Project Team from NECPC R&D members.
• Stake holders from NECPC functions. (Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Service & Support, etc.)
