You will be expected to provide leadership in terms of vision, mission, strategic planning and execution. Your main role will be to oversee strategic priorities, drive risk and compliance engagement globally, operate a team budget culture and manage communication.
Your role
- Partner with the PWM Risk and Compliance teams and optimize the department’s effectiveness.
- Coordinate a wide range of strategic projects, including organizational/processes changes, investigations, staff management, and other logistical operations; ensure alignment among stakeholders and buy-in from the various teams to deliver impacting initiatives.
- Serve as a key liaison with the R&C community and other stakeholders to ensure maximum collaboration.
- Manage budgets: facilitate annual strategy, initiative and budget planning processes; ensure that success criteria and metrics are captured and monitor progress.
- Contribute to consistent and global communications (intranet, newsletter, etc.).
Your profile
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Banking/Finance or equivalent.
- At least five years’ experience in a financial institution or consulting firm.
- Excellent knowledge of the banking or finance industries.
- Experience of working with senior management.
- Combination of strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking and an ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization.
- Keen sense of professional ethics and integrity as well as an ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on mentality, with the ability to be strategic and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Cross-functional leadership experience
- Ability to effectively partner with senior leaders.
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and business planning.
- Swiss residence at the time of taking up the role.
