DESCRIPTION DE LA MISSION PROFIL ATTENDU
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategies to protect and expand IP portfolio.
- Manage the patent lifecycle, from invention identification to prosecution and maintenance.
- Conduct IP risk assessments, including freedom-to-operate analyses for new and existing products.
- Oversee patent and trademark portfolios, strategies, and budgets.
- Collaborate with R&D and external counsel on IP-related matters.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor IP insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Advise senior management on IP strategies, licensing, and regulatory developments.
- Train employees on IP protection best practices.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Master's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, physics or robotic engineering.
- Experience with surgical instruments and/or surgical robotics is a strong advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience managing patent preparation, prosecution, patentability, and freedom-to-operate searches (Patent Agent/Attorney registration preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of US and European patent office filing and prosecution procedures.
- Proven ability to develop and articulate strategic IP plans to senior management.
- Strong advocacy and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluency in English is required.
