Our client, a leading organization based in Lausanne, is seeking a Master Data Specialist to join their team. This pivotal role supports the company's ambitious digital transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on optimizing master data within the SAP environment.
Description
As a Master Data Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of master data while contributing to SAP-driven projects:
- Manage and optimize master data (customers, suppliers, products) in the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Configure and customize SAP to align with business requirements related to data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in data integration and migration projects within SAP.
- Ensure data compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Train and support SAP users in best practices for data governance and usage.
Profile
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role, with advanced expertise in SAP (preferably in MM, SD, or other relevant modules).
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of SAP, particularly in data management (configuration and customization).
- Familiarity with data management tools (MDM, ETL) and governance best practices.
- Experience in SAP data migration or integration projects.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Solution-driven approach and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Languages: Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required.
