Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.
The Global PMO Director is responsible for ensuring the deployed future state end-to-end (E2E) solution for the Global transformation program across all program functions, work streams, and global teams adheres to the Agile program methodology. They will work globally across all releases of Transcend deployments, from solution readiness, business readiness, and transition to end-state, to promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Director will provide leadership in operational processes with the intent to reduce risks/impediments and timeline delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the program team to implement Agile deployment methodology and the Transcend Playbook for the S4 Hana implementation across the business and technology teams and according to the needs of the program for process improvements, automation, and real-time reporting
- Define the strategy for program operations best practices through use of tools, technology, and process improvements
- Analyze and prioritize program learnings that gain efficiencies in program deployment and delivery, and lead a team to implement these changes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enable a quality implemented methodology according to Agile program methodology
- Alignment with global transformation programs (e.g., SigniFi - Transact) and other interdependent programs
- Forge robust working relationships with key business partners to ensure program objectives are met with less operational overhead and streamlined processes for governance, execution, and reporting
- Prepare business updates for senior level team members through automated reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) by using automated workflows to program plans, trackers, and systems
- Define the strategy to deliver multiple releases in parallel, ensure the deployment methodology is updated, and teams enabled to deliver
- Operational governance strategy across design authorities, technical review boards, and design review boards, identify interdependencies and opportunities for simplification, and implement improvements
- Lead, shape, and influence program methodology activities and team members to implement program operational improvements
- Partner with Global Program Management peers to ensure appropriate communication of key interdependencies, risks, and performance metrics
- Drive the deployment methodology and strategy with the Global Deployment Leads
