We are seeking a dynamic and versatile IT professional to take on a dual role involving Operations Support Services (OSS) and TechOps / Application Management. The ideal candidate will dedicate 50% of their time to OSS activities and the other 50% to application management and technical operations, ensuring a balance between maintaining the infrastructure and supporting business-critical applications. This role focuses more on application management but requires expertise in both areas.
Task and Responsibilities:
1. Application Management (50%)
- GxP / CSV / e-Compliance Expertise:
- Ensure compliance with GxP regulations in the IT context, including Computer System Validation (CSV) and other e-compliance requirements.
- Local Application Support & Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and lifecycle management for local business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.
- Business IT Focal Point:
- Act as the key IT contact for local business units, facilitating communication between business and technical teams.
- Project Support:
- Collaborate with both local and global teams on IT projects, providing application management expertise and support for implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
2. Technical Operations & Infrastructure (50%)
- Hands-on Support:
- Provide on-the-ground support for IT infrastructure, including operating systems, Windows environments, network connectivity, and basic hardware maintenance.
- Datacenter and Communication Room Support:
- Assist in managing and supporting the local datacenter, communication room, and video conferencing facilities, ensuring operational readiness and uptime.
- Infrastructure Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades to IT infrastructure to maintain smooth operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in application management, especially in GxP, CSV, and e-compliance within an IT context.
- Previous experience supporting IT infrastructure, including O.S., Windows, networking, and hardware maintenance.
- Experience in a lab environment is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both application and infrastructure contexts.
- Proficient in both Spanish and English for effective communication across teams.
- Familiarity with project management practices and ability to contribute to both local and global projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with local and global IT project support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to act as a bridge between technical teams and local business units.
- Experience working in regulated environments, especially labs or GxP-regulated industries.
