The TA Analytics and Processes Performance Manager is responsible to assure the availability of reliable and critical Data and Performance matrix to Crew TA and Workforce Planning operations. The primary goal of this function is to develop a strategic plan for an effective data analysis and reporting to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making within the crewing departments.
The TA Analytics and Processes Performance Manager will be the primary point of contact for different stakeholders across the TA and Crewing organisations and product teams, to support the availability and maintenance of data tools to drive efficient crew management processes, optimise crew workforce planning and measure the performance of the agency network.
Leadership and Development:
• Collaborate as SME with the developers to define the data set requirements to be rendered live for the day-to-day tasks, prioritisation and visualisation of information to ensure data quality and alignment in the overall crewing strategy.
• Ensure that the skills of the TA team is at par with current business intelligence and reporting tools through regular training and skills assessment.
• Enable a continuous discussion with the management team across the TA & crewing operations in promoting analytics maturity by introducing metrics, KPIs, and SLAs measured through reports and dashboards for the TA operations.
• Initiate 360 feedback loop between analysts and stakeholders to promote a synergetic and harmonious sharing and use of data between teams.
Strategic Data Planning, Analysis and Reporting:
• Streamline the TA Analytics and Process Performance strategy to align with the overall HR and product development goals.
• Collect, consolidate, and maintain crew-related data from various sources, including internal databases, external systems, and third-party platforms.
• Ensure data definition, accuracy, completeness, validation and integrity through regular quality checks and data cleansing activities.
• Develop and implement efficient data management procedures and workflows to streamline data collection and reduce manual efforts.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify SLAs, trends, patterns, and insights related to crew performance, availability, training, documentation, visas, certifications, and other relevant factors.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualisation to communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations to the HR crewing community.
• Utilise statistical techniques and data visualisation tools to present complex data in a concise and understandable manner.
Forecasting and Data Driven Support:
• Collaborate with HR Crewing teams across the organisation and operations teams to draft forecast analysis for crew requirements based on vessel schedules, maintenance plans, and other factors.
• Analyse crew deployment and availability data to optimise crew allocation, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and resource optimisation to enhance crewing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support TA managers in making informed decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, crewing best practices, and regulatory changes to provide proactive recommendations for crew management strategies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of crew-related policies, procedures, and guidelines based on data analysis and industry benchmarks.
Data Governance and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations, such as GDPR, in handling crew-related data.
• Work closely as SME for IT Department to assure maximum data security measures, access controls, system enhancements and data retention policies.
• Maintain a strong understanding of crewing industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
• Conducts regular reviews of data dashboards with all managers and senior managers across the Crew Strategy and Sourcing function as well as the broader HR Crewing and Operations functions to identify needed developments and improvements.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements in workforce management tools.
• Implement and leverage advanced workforce planning software to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as Analytics Manager/leadership role.
• 5+ years of experience in the cruise/maritime industry.

• Takes an active role in promoting a positive attitude toward culture, core values, compliance, and safety within the operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis, data modelling, and visualisation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Visio).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
