Hardware/Software Tester (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Test Engineer SW/HW on behalf of our customer in the medical technology sector. The role involves contributing to hardware and software testing within R&D activities, specifically in the design verification of advanced diagnostic systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and define test cases based on system requirements and risk assessments.
• Execute hardware and software tests or coordinate external testing efforts.
• Develop and implement test strategies and concepts for multiple testing levels.
• Review specifications and requirements to ensure testability.
• Plan, execute, and document verification and validation (V&V) activities in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Medical, Electronics, or Informatics).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in hardware or software testing, preferably in regulated industries such as medical technology.
• Knowledge of test planning, execution, and test management tools.
• Fluent in English (B2), German is an asset.
• ISTQB certification and experience with Agile methodologies and automation tools are a plus.
