Are you passionate about making a difference in sustainability while driving impactful supply chain initiatives? We're seeking a proactive and organized Sustainability Manager SCM to champion sustainable practices, optimize processes, and create innovative opportunities in line with our environmental goals. Join our dynamic team and help shape the future of sustainable supply chains!
Tasks:
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for sustainability topics within the supply chain management (SCM) function
- Lead the "refurbishment-first" principle within Sunrise, prioritizing refurbished items over new sales
- Support business case development for refurbishment and resale initiatives, securing approval through S&OP processes
- Manage business-as-usual sustainability processes, including order handling, shipments, recycling, and reselling
- Assist in implementing new sustainability processes and initiatives as a project team member or assistant
- Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and external partners
- Document processes thoroughly and develop work instructions for sustainability practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, environmental science, or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational and methodical skills
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication abilities
- Proficient in data analytics and Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP)
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and natural curiosity to understand end-to-end processes
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
