Regulatory Reporting Intermediate Analyst
Citi as the leading global bank is present in 100+ countries, 55 of which are in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. In each of these countries the Central Banks and other financial regulatory bodies require the timely and accurate reporting of key monetary statistics that give information about the whole economy and ensuring that capital adequacy standards are met so that banks can defend the economy from the spill over effects in case of a financial crisis.
As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with the review and analysis of detailed statistical, liquidity and prudential reports and ensure accurate and consistent monitoring and reporting across multiple legal vehicles, spanning several countries.
What you’ll do:

Production & delivery of daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory returns and monitoring reports

Maintain and further enhance of controls & reports including reconciliations, adjustments & variance analysis

Liaise with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to investigate issues

Support to Country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. analysis, regulatory inquiries)

Maintain the reporting procedures and relevant process notes

Participate in projects to implement any new or changing regulatory requirements
What we’ll need from you:

Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
-
3+ years of experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting

Working knowledge of related financial regulations (for instance CRD, CRR2) is an advantage

Good understanding of Financial Markets and Products

MS Office knowledge is needed, affinity for other technologies (KNIME, Python etc.) is an advantage
