Ensuring an effective support in the management of the Industrial Internships program of each STI Master, in coordination with the respective sections of the School of Engineering.
Coordinator for industrial internships for STI Master students :
- Managing the program in collaboration with STI sections and other academic units within and outside STI (e.g. SAC, career center, laboratories)
- Interacting with current and potential hosts of STI trainees (industrial partners)
- Interacting with Master students, and presenting/introducing them the program
- Contributing to the development and evolution of the program, and possibly fostering new collaborations between laboratories and industrial partners
- Maintaining the internships database
- Developing statistics about the program
- Participating in the organization of the Engineering Industry day, in collaboration with the STI Strategic Initiatives Manager
This position requires frequent interactions with STI sections, SAC, career center, STI laboratories and industrial partners.
- Engineer (from EPFL or another similar institution), Phd an asset
- Very good experience in the academic domain's administration, very good knowledge of EPFL an asset
- Fluency in French and English
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in the usual Microsoft 365 tools, incl. for presentations towards students
- Proactive, reactive, with an interest for innovation
- Clear synthetic vision
- Team player, good ability to interact with students
