About Global Access
Global Access is focused on delivering sustainable, replicable and scalable global strategies, policies and solutions. Our work aims to support the Pharma Vision and enables affiliates to drive patient access locally while maximizing the value for society, ecosystems and business. We are operating in a highly networked and agile model with stable chapters and a variety of flexible squads and work product teams along the lifecycle and across disease areas, functions and geographies. Chapters are based on the expertise and capabilities needed to co-create and deliver integrated solutions with our internal and external partners.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Disease Area Population Health Strategies, leveraging epidemiological insights to enhance patient access and uptake of healthcare innovations. You will collaborate across internal teams and with external partners, to build innovative approaches to overcoming barriers to the optimal use of Roche’s offerings in all eligible populations. The Population Health Strategy will be a core component of the Access Strategy and the deliverables will be used to inform and are subsequently integrated into ISP and IEP.
Key Responsibilities

Develop a Population Health landscape analysis for a particular disease area and identify new patient populations. You achieve this by working closely with markets, epidemiologists and other teams and by mapping/ leveraging the healthcare ecosystem pathways.

Collaborate with individuals across Global Access (Access Strategy, Pricing, Evidence & Epidemiology) as well as key stakeholders in early development and commercial teams to create an actionable population health strategy for your respective Disease Area.

Once the strategy is shaped, your role will be to influence, activate and co-ordinate approaches across several functions within global and priority markets. You will influence access and commercial strategies by providing recommendations to Commercial Leadership Teams/ Priority markets and guide resource allocation to support solution implementation.

For your disease area, you will Identify, engage, and vet external partners to develop business solutions & strategic partnerships that address challenges in healthcare innovation uptake. You will share approaches and solutions with other strategy leads where they can be leveraged across or in part of the portfolio.

You will work with in-market DA squads to pull through Population Health solutions. In doing so you will continue to grow Roche’s expertise in Population Health solutions like Decentralized care, Health Financing etc.

Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development process, product life cycle with a focus on commercial/ access expertise.

Deep expertise in one or more Roche’s disease areas and experience working in a Roche priority market/s is preferred.

Strong financial acumen – experience with resource allocation, P&L management.

Ability to consume health insights and convert them into actionable strategies.

Have successful global launch experience.

Experience in building multi-stakeholder consortia that resulted in innovative healthcare ecosystems.

Robust experience with leading large complex planning process, strategy, insights and analytics

Strong financial acumen – experience with resource allocation, P&L management.
