Job Summary
1) Promote BD Diagnostic Systems (DS) products in accordance with assigned budget/sales plan through both direct sales to customers and indirectly through distribution channel.
2) Maintain excellent customer relationships by providing technical advice on product use and clinical applications of diagnostic instruments and reagents.
3) Manage distributors' business to ensure effective sales management, good account control and good inventory management for assigned accounts.
4) Ensure achievement of sales target set for each quarter through training & education programs to meet customer needs.
5) Provide feedback on market trends and information on competitors' activities to Sales Management Team.
6) Develop strategic plans including annual business planning and long-term forecasting for key accounts.
7) Achieve personal goals as per company guidelines.
8) Organize tender documents and prepare proposals for submission.
9) Assist in new product launches.
10) Conduct regular meetings with distributor staffs to provide necessary support.
Job Responsibility
1) Plan and execute all aspects of selling and promoting BD Diagnostic Systems products to maximise sales opportunities within the framework of approved budgets and agreed targets.
2) Monitor performance against sales targets and report any deviation or changes to the Sales Management Team.
3) Report on progress made on achieving objectives at least once every month.
4) Work closely with Distributor Sales Representatives to ensure they have adequate knowledge and understanding of the features and benefits of BD Diagnostic Systems products and related technology so that they can effectively communicate this to potential customers.
5) Identify customer requirements and develop solutions based on BD Diagnostic Systems products and services.
6) Prepare tenders and quotations for submission to customers.
7) Support Marketing team with regards to new product introductions, promotions and other relevant events.
8) Provide feedback on market trends and information on competitors' activities to Sales Management Team.

Qualification
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Device industry preferred but not essential.
Experience in selling diagnostic equipment into hospitals would be advantageous.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Strong presentation skills.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to travel extensively throughout territory and occasionally overseas.
Intermediate English communication skill is required.
