We are recruiting an Accounts Payables & Receivables Manager at our headquarters in Geneva. Reporting to the Head of Accounting and managing a team of 2 people, your mission to ensure the accuracy of the Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and banks of OM Pharma SA and OM Pharma Suisse SA, ensure the recording of the newly acquired fixed assets and follow up the Intercompany accounts and LATAM expenses.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Lead a team of 2 AP Accountants and act as back-up when necessary
  • Record fixed assets acquisitions, disposals and depreciation in SageX3
  • Reconcile the balance of the fixed assets subsidiary ledger to the GL and analyze any discrepancies
  • Process payments for all vendors invoices
  • Process incoming and outgoing cash
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of banks, ICP and Accounts Receivables/Payables
  • Process Intercompany: Invoices from our LATAM distributors and others
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Follow up of the cash balances for treasury, of overdue Accounts Receivables and ensure internal control
  • Follow-up of receivables with Customer Operations Support and regular monitoring of receivable accounts
  • Ad hoc project work, data analysis and reporting

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

  • Educational background in Accounting or equivalent
  • 10 years of experience in accounting in an international environment
  • Experience in direct people management
  • Deep knowledge of Swiss and European VAT
  • Fluency in French with good knowledge of English, and ideally good knowledge of Spanish
  • At ease with the use of an ERP system (Sage X3 ideally) and MS-Office programs (Word, Excel)
