Missions

As a Finance Officer (part-time, 50%), you will oversee daily financial and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Swiss accounting standards, experience with GIT software, and fluency in English.

Based in the Geneva region, this position offers flexibility in scheduling: mornings, afternoons, or full days as needed. Hybrid work arrangements allow a mix of office-based and remote work.

  • Payments Management: Oversee the monthly payment cycle, ensuring invoices are compliant and processed promptly.
  • Invoicing: Manage invoicing for new members, events, and activities, while monitoring outstanding payments.
  • Service Providers: Coordinate with external providers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective services.
  • Governance & Reporting: Support governance processes through regular tracking and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders regarding financial processes.
  • Financial Planning: Assist the Finance Manager and Operations Director with monthly/quarterly reports and annual budget preparation.

Profil du candidat

  • Solid experience in Swiss accounting standards (minimum 3 years).
  • Proficiency with GIT software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong financial and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English (native or near-native); knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously within a virtual team.
  • Proven ability to implement efficient financial systems and processes.
