The mission of the Business Developer is to identify and generate new business opportunities and revenue for their assigned startups, which may include those supported by the Innovation Hub.
What will you do?
- Understand the market for the assigned startups, help in challenge and refine the sales strategy and pricing model, with specific focus on B2B sales.
- Prospect, lead sales opportunities, generate company awareness through association involvement, and event participation.
- Pro-actively canvas markets to seek out new business opportunities, in define geographies.
- Exercise creativity and independent judgment in developing and evaluating sales and marketing strategies in selling the assigned portfolio of services within a defined market.
- Leverage resources from across EHL and personal network to deliver desired outcomes.
- Drive sales process for the assigned startups from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation & successful conclusion of new business opportunities.
Who you are?
- You have Bachelor or Master Degree in a related field.
- You have 10 years of professional experience with at least 2-6 years in a similar position.
- You have a good understanding and knowledge of the hospitality and food & Beverage industries in more than one geography.
- You are proficient in funneling, CRM management, Data Management, Database understanding, digital implementation, workflows analysis.
- You have a good understanding of startups’ business.
- You have a can-do attitude with a good time management.
- You are a good team player.
- You are a an excellent communicator.
- You are motivated by dynamic environment.
- You are fluent in English (C1)
