As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating various enterprise systems and technologies into a single cohesive whole using our iPaaS architecture. In addition, you will be involved in planning, designing, and building an integrated and automated enterprise systems landscape. In this role you will report to the Head System Integration and this position is based in our offices in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Your main responsibilities
- Create technical architecture and design of complex integrations, including planning for security, scalability, and backup procedures
- Oversee all stages of the integration development process, from planning to deployment. This includes hands-on development and testing
- Communicate with stakeholders to identify business requirements, help set priorities, and gather feedback on integration designs
- Identify, design, and implement business process improvements by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery and re-designing infrastructure for better performance and greater scalability
- Forge strong partnerships with business stakeholders and strive for greater functionality from our enterprise systems
Your profile
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent.
- Practical exposure to integration and Software processes
- Practical experience designing, building, and maintaining systems integration using an iPaaS solutions (such as Boomi, MuleSoft, TIBCO or Talend) and multipge programming lanugages
- Demonstrable experience working with different types of API protocols and architectures
- Broad knowledge of API management (possibly from study). This includes designing, developing, publishing, documenting, and analyzing APIs in a secure environment that enforces policy and usage limitations
- Strong software engineering principles, including continuous integration and deployment pipelines and technologies.
- Good people and communication skills
- MuleSoft developer certification is a plus
