About the role
The role of Medical Advisor-Patient Access supports expanded access to medicines and leads the implementation and operations of Patient Access mechanisms in areas of high patient unmet need.
What you will do:
- Lead the implementation and operations of patient access mechanism, including compassionate access requests
- Foster high levels of cross functional collaboration to enable timely decisions in a matrix organisation, across regions and multiple therapy areas.
- Drive execution, including tracking and reporting, of assigned Patient Access activities and mechanisms and manage and optimise related data and digital tools
What we’re seeking in you:
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field required, advanced degree in science or pharmacy preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in medical affairs in Pharmaceutical or healthcare Industry
- Experience in patient access mechanisms in the Australian and New Zealand context, and prior program management experience preferred
- Ability to understand and communicate scientific information
- Strong Project Management skills
- Enjoy working within a structured environment and thrive on maintaining and improving operational processes for greater efficiency and accuracy
- Demonstrate a strong desire and ability to collaborate effectively with others, contributing to a team-oriented environment and fostering positive working relationships
