In your Supply Chain Finance Director role, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.
The Supply Chain Finance Leader has the primary responsibility for providing leadership of the finance organisation supporting the IFP Supply Chain organisation. This position leads a direct team of 36 finance professionals, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer for IFP partnering the IFP VP of Supply Chain. The role must build strong collaborative relationships with the Global Supply Chain organisation and across the IFP ABU CFO organisation.
The Impact you can make
- Drive the transformation in the IFP Supply Chain function in collaboration with the IFP VP of Supply Chain.
- Act as the finance thought partner to the IFP Product Supply VP and be a key influential member of their Leadership Team.
- Elevate capabilities and best practices across the IFP supply Chain organisation – PSAs and logistics analysts.
- Enhance and deploy analytical capabilities in the IFP supply chain organisation, leveraging benchmarking, should-cost modelling and emerging tools and systems arising out of the Aurora programme.
- Partner with IFP FPA team to ensure the inputs for the IFP Supply Chain forecasting processes are robust and with appropriate insight and commentary.
- Provide explanation and analysis on actual results and support or recommend remediation plans on any emerging issues to ensure business results are still met/exceeded.
- Support all Cost Transformation processes to drive continuous improvement and lowering the cost base.
- Be a COE for evaluation of capital projects to ensure appropriate prioritization and ROI is at or better than benchmarks.
- Provide analysis and support to ensure IFP footprint and network is optimized.
- Drive working capital improvement with a focus on DIO and DPO.
Experiences We’re Looking For
- An experienced leader and financial executive with appropriate industry experience, preferably in FMCG and with a proven strong track record of driving value in Supply Chain operations.
- An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
- Possess sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
- A well organized and self-directed individual who has commitment to operating in and building strong teams.
- An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills and both cultural and organisation sensitivity with proven ability to work impactfully across diverse cultures and organizations.
- Have the confidence and capabilities to work with all levels of leadership up to and including Executive Level Senior Leaders.do so in a professional manner.
- Masters qualified, 10+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional Western certification (ACCA,CIMA,CMA or similar (MBA or other globally recognised).
- Strong communication skills and English Language is critical.
- Confident presenting and communication capability.
- Collaborative and able to build relationships across a diverse organisation.
