Overall, Purpose of this Job:
For its Head office Milan, Italy, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST to be hired on Permanent Contract, reporting directly to the Communication & Public Affairs Lead Italy. You will implement internal and external communication strategies around our Corporate and Disease Area Strongholds. You will work closely with our EMEA regional communication colleagues.
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- External communication including media engagement and social media
- Employee engagement & Internal Communications
- Strategic Communication: Manage internal and external communications, developing strategies that support corporate and TA objectives. The focus would be on communicating innovation and progress in the medical field.
- Reputation and identity Management: Responsible for building and maintaining the company’s reputation and brand identity, ensuring messaging aligns with J&J's values.
· Content Creation: Responsible for the creation of content, including press releases, articles and social media posts, to highlight the company’s medical innovations to a growing community
- Crisis Management: Ability to respond promptly to critical situations, protecting the company’s image in cases of issues.
- Digital Expertise: Experience using digital platforms and social media to enhance the company’s visibility, digital presence, and interaction with the public, with a special focus on new communication tools Strengthen J&J’s presence as a leader in pharmaceutical innovation through targeted digital and social communication strategies and awareness campaigns.
- Align the organization through the execution of the Governance Model (Company Townhalls and Leadership forums) in partnership with HR, MD and Customer Excellence Director.
- Engage workforce to be part of the communication ecosystem, through internal and social activation.
- Ensuring a strong and consistent brand identity through all the company internal and external channels.
- Support the launch of new therapies or medical technologies, ensuring clear and effective communication with patients, physicians, and regulatory authorities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other business functions, i.e. market access, government affairs, patients’ engagement, sales, and R&D, to ensure consistent communication.
