Your Impact
- Responsible for leading and executing M&A engagements within the retail and consumer sector. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing insightful analysis, strategic recommendations, and leading negotiations to ensure the successful completion of transactions.
- Spearheading end-to-end M&A engagements, including target identification, coordination of due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and integration planning.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and financial experts, to deliver comprehensive advisory solutions to clients.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the retail and consumer industry.
- Analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and risks for clients.
- Leading client presentations and preparing compelling reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
Your Skill Set
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, PhD, etc.) is a plus.
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in M&A advisory within the retail and consumer industry and proven track record of successfully executing M&A deals and providing strategic guidance to clients.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, coupled with a deep understanding of industry-specific dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to engage with and have an impact on clients and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate teams while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, German is a plus.
