(Senior) Associate in Application Operation

The Application Operations team provides PwC internal users and Application Responsibles support of their applications in the Azure Cloud environment to ensure reliability and stability. As part of our team, you'll help enhance our operations quality, work across all Information Technology operational functions, and coordinate with service stakeholders as well as PwC global IT colleagues.

• Be a valuable member of a Swiss-wide team, responsible for the operation and maintenance of applications. Actively and independently handle incidents and requests.  
• Focus on stability, quality improvement and problem management, and provide technical support and troubleshoot issues together with external experts. 
• Coordinate, plan, and implement new features, release changes and upgrades to ensure the applications and security are up to date. 
• Develop and maintain application and training documentation and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external ICT partners. 
• Take part in the service management for local application services in collaboration with PwC's Global IT Organization. 
• Work in a multicultural team.   

• Higher education in IT, or 1st proven experience in IT and/or Application Operation Management.  
• Valuable experience in the operations area and experience in dealing with cloud computing services. Experienced in the implementation and optimization of processes including the associated IT systems. 
• Ideally certifications and an interest in further training in Operations, Microsoft Azure and Service Management ITIL, or you are ITIL 4 Foundation certified / ready to get certified. 
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is an asset. 
• Effective communication and organizational skills and attention to detail, and the desire to work in an international environment as an innovative and motivated part of our local Swiss Applications Operations team.
