As Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Project Finance, you will be a key player in structuring, managing, and overseeing the legal aspects of the group's financing projects, especially within Africa. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will ensure strategic legal and contractual compliance on all financing activities.

Description
- Project Finance Management: Structuring and negotiating complex financing transactions, including partnerships and financing agreements.
- Legal Supervision of Projects: Providing expert legal guidance through all stages of the project lifecycle in close coordination with development and operational teams.
- Document Drafting and Review: Drafting and reviewing agreements (loan agreements, security agreements, etc.) to ensure full compliance with both local and international regulations.
- Law Firm Coordination: Managing relationships with high-profile law firms to optimize legal strategies and outcomes.
- Legal and Regulatory Monitoring: Staying updated on changes in banking law, project finance, and infrastructure regulations relevant to ongoing and upcoming projects
Profile
- Qualified Lawyer; French bar admission is highly preferred.
- Required Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in project finance gained within a reputable law firm or corporate environment. Significant experience in a leading law firm is essential.
- Language Skills: Full proficiency in both French and English (written and verbal).
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in structuring and managing international project finance, especially within African markets.
- Personal Attributes: Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently with rigor and reliability.
