We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Regional Tax Manager to join the tax team for one of our client in Canton de Vaud. This role offers the opportunity to manage the company's tax affairs across a large region. Main Responsibilities:
- Tax Structuring: Lead and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of tax-efficient structures within the region.
- Tax Advisory: Provide tax advice and support to operational personnel, finance, and other support functions.
- Restructuring Plans: Develop, lead, and project-manage the implementation of restructuring plans.
- M&A Due Diligence: Manage M&A tax due diligence processes and advise operations on the tax implications of target acquisitions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Principal Company structure across EMEA.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Principal Company finance team to optimise structural integrity.
- Reporting: Review quarterly tax estimates and year-end tax packages prepared by local finance personnel for US GAAP reporting purposes
Main Qualifications:
- Professional Certification: Recognised accounting or tax qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of tax experience in practice or industry, including at least 3 years of managing and leading cross-border tax structuring projects.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent time-management abilities to handle multiple, competing deadlines.
- US GAAP: Experience in US GAAP tax reporting.
- Independence: Ability to work independently in a demanding, decentralised environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, making you an effective team player.
