Technical Solution Engineer II
Travel Partnerships and Media helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions.

Technical Solutions and Tools (TST) provides an outstanding opportunity to learn how EG technology platforms work and how to design and build scalable solutions for our internal partners. We are a small team who dreams big! As a Technical Solution Engineer II, your focus will be full stack software development in an Agile environment. Your objective: to deliver products and updates quickly and with quality.
In this role, you will:

Develop and maintain web applications using Flask

Optimize algorithms for handling large data sets

Containerize and migrate legacy applications to the cloud
-
Work with the team to decide the best path forward when challenged with a problem
-
Write code that is clean, maintainable, optimized, and modular with good naming conventions

Implement automated testing and contribute to the documentation of testing processes

Experience and qualifications:

2+ years experience with Python, SQL, and HTML5/JavaScript

Knowledge in database design, modelling, and querying

Experience writing code to support larger-scale (100+ users) systems

Familiar with Model-View-Controller(MVC)Architecture

Comfortable working within a team and being able to pivot quickly from project to project

The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $71,000.00 to $99,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $113,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
