This role is crucial in delivering outstanding donor support, fostering loyalty, and ensuring long-term relationships. The main goal is to provide superior service and communication, enhancing donor satisfaction and contributing to fundraising success. Reporting to the Head of Sector and collaborating closely with the Supporter Care team, this position ensures that donors are engaged and supported efficiently.

Missions
Donor Engagement
- Address donor inquiries via various channels (email, phone, post) and ensure timely follow-up.
- Refine and standardize communication templates for consistent responses.
- Manage the donor acknowledgment process, ensuring thank-you notes are accurate and delivered promptly.
- Oversee and maintain accurate donor address data with regular quality checks.
- Participate in donor communication activities, including campaign mailings and validation processes.
- Provide insights on donor behavior to support marketing and fundraising strategies.
- Handle donor database management, including deduplication and telemarketing data monitoring.
- Ensure timely delivery of requested materials such as documents, tax certificates, and other relevant items.
Data & Information Management
- Administer donor databases, including data imports, generating reports, and regular updates.
- Perform regular quality checks on database entries and coordinate with internal teams for necessary follow-ups.
- Manage direct debit registrations and liaise with banks for any related issues.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of database processes and procedures.
Internal Information Sharing
- Ensure internal team information is organized, shared, and filed according to established protocols.
- Serve as the point of contact for managing the donor ticketing tool.
- Support the implementation of a new CRM system within the organization.
Profil du candidat
- Educational background or significant experience in Quality Management, Marketing, or Customer Care.
- Fluency in multiple languages, including French, German, and English. Knowledge of Swiss German or Italian is advantageous.
- Proven experience in customer care, with a strong preference for experience in donor services.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in managing sensitive situations.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in marketing and fundraising is a plus, as is exposure to humanitarian or non-profit sectors.
