Presentation
The mission of the genomics platform GTF is to provide access to state-of-the-art instruments, methods and support to various laboratories, mainly at the University of Lausanne and its partners.
Within this framework, the technician is part of a team of around 10 collaborators, divided between the laboratory and data analysis. This dynamic environment combines data production activities following established protocols, with development projects aimed at designing and optimizing new genomics methods.

Your responsibilities
In your functions, you will have to :
- Prepare sequencing libraries
- Execute sequencing runs on different instruments (Illumina, Element Biosciences, Pacific Biosciences)
- Develop and test new library preparation methods and technologies
Your qualifications
In order to complete our team, we are looking for someone with the following skills :
- ES Diploma of technician in biomedical analysis, or equivalent training in the field of biology
- Bachelor HES of Science in Life Science or Life Technology / Master HES of Science in Life Science or Life Technology
- 3 years working experience in the field of high-throughput sequencing
